The CFA Society of New Zealand’s headquarters is located in Auckland, New Zealand and operates solely within New Zealand.

Non Profit Status:
The CFA Society of New Zealand is a not for profit member society, and operates as a non-profit body in terms of Section DJ17 of the Income Tax Act 1994, IRD number 081-891-885.

Our Commitment
This Privacy Policy has been developed as an extension of CFA Society New Zealand 's commitment to combine quality products and services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with the public, Members and candidates.

Scope
This Policy guides how CFA Society New Zealand collects, stores and uses information which is collected by CFA Society New Zealand or provided to CFA Society New Zealand, whether through our websites or by other methods such as applications, enrolments, registrations, orders or other means. This Policy covers all of CFA Society New Zealand's websites. This statement does not cover non-CFA Society New Zealand websites that are linked to CFA Society New Zealand websites. 

Automatic Collection of Information
If you do nothing during your visit but browse through CFA Society New Zealand's websites, read pages, or download information, we will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically. CFA Institute and other societies, which may send you information about products and services they offer other companies and organizations that have products or services that we believe may be of interest to you companies which process your credit card if you order our materials as required by applicable laws or regulations By becoming a Member of CFA Society New Zealand you also allow CFA Society New Zealand to release your personal information to individuals and entities which order CFA Society New Zealand's Membership Directory.

The CFA Society of New Zealand may transmit names and email addresses to an email service provider for the purpose of distribution of CFA Society of New Zealand messages via email.  Prior to sending any such information the CFA Society of New Zealand will ensure that the email service provider has adequate processes and systems to ensure security and confidentiality of the information transmitted.

Username And Password
If you register for a password, CFA Society New Zealand will transmit that information to the companies which administer CFA Society New Zealand websites to allow you to access those sites.

Opting-out of The Release of Your Personal Information
If you do not wish CFA Society New Zealand to release your personal information to third parties, please send a written request in which you identify yourself, and which clearly states your preference that CFA Society New Zealand not release your information to one or more of the individuals or entities listed above. CFA Society New Zealand will not be able to fulfil some requests if CFA Society New Zealand is not able to release your personal information to a third party. For example, in order to process an order, CFA Society New Zealand must send your credit card information to a credit card processing company.
